Celtic Classic 2008? - I know I am a little late

Just a question, does anyone know why this competition did not run this year?

Normally it is well attended and if I recall is a Grand Slam, or at least has all the top couples.

Any light shedded would be appreciated.  Thanks

From memory I think the official press release stated that it was to do with problems with the venue but that they were hoping to hold the competition again in the future if they could secure an alternative venue ?? in Dublin?

Cool.  Thanks.  I always like to see how the couples place in different countries.  I think that this competition normally favoured dancers that didn't normally do as well else where.

I will cross my fingers for next year.

The plan is, as I understand, to hold again next year, and in Dublin this time. Also hear that its gonna be bigger than ever before.

At least I am really looking forwar to it.
